Ek het n tiek tiek geluid op my 4y wanneer ek hom start.Dit verdwyn heeltemal na n minuut se idle.Ek het n nuwe kompleet head op met nuwe hydraulic lifters.Die oliepomp is ook vervang met n egte Toyota oliepomp.
Is dit iets waaroor ek my moet bekommerd of nie?Ry op die oomblik met Shell Helix HX3 20W-50W olie.

Dit is splinter nuwe chev hydraulic lifters wat hy in het,ingevoer vanaf Masterparts in Kenilworth in die kaap.Het dieselfde geluid gemaak met die ou liftersThysdJ wrote:2 woorde vir jou... hydraulic lifters....

Ja, dis lifters. Hulle kan so maak al is hulle splinternuut. Niks om oor bekommerd te wees nie, as dit heeltyd daar was sou dit 'n ander storie gewees het.Ek het n tiek tiek geluid op my 4y wanneer ek hom start.Dit verdwyn heeltemal na n minuut se idle

Stem saam met Andy. Dit vat so 'n rukkie vir die olie druk om behoorlik op te bou in die "hydraulic lifters". Onthou wat die manne altyd gesê het van tappets toe mens hulle nog met die hand gestel het. " A noisy tappet is a happy tappet".

Ekt dieselfde olie gebruik met dieselfde geluid, ek het toe my olie verander. Ek dink ek het Castrol gebruik, maar kan nie die spesifieke olie spec onthou nie. Geluid weg. En nee, geen sludge,
