Otherwise known as verbal diarrhea
Easier said than done though oom Andy, cos there's people you'd like to tell exactly how you feel without mincing any words.
But as we all know, what is said cannot be "unsaid" hence with me one would have to keep pushing me so many times for so long until I get to this point, in my younger days it happened easier , so now I choose my battles carefully

Re: Proverbs, paste your favorites.
Some thoughts from a book I'm reading.....
"There is no such thing as objective reality, or the 'real world'. There are no absolutes..... What really separates people who are habitually upbeat and optimistic from those who are consistently miserable is how the circumstances of life are interpreted and processed......No matter what happens to you in your life, you alone have the capacity to choose your response to it. When you form the habit of searching for the positive in every circumstance, your life will move into its highest dimensions. All success in life, whether material or spiritual, ....... starts with the thoughts that you put into your mind every second of every minute of every day. By controlling the thoughts that you think and the way you respond to the events of your life, you begin to control your destiny."
Extracts from The Monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma.

Re: Proverbs, paste your favorites.
A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the washing outside. "That laundry is not very clean; she doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap." Her husband looks on, remaining silent. Every time her neighbor hangs her wash to dry, the young woman makes the same comments. A month later, the woman is surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and says to her husband: "Look, she's finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this? " The husband replies, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows." And so it is with life... What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look...
