theo,

don't know where in your area(i am from the good old wc),but it is deffinitly worth the bucks!

any diesel turbo will benefit by doing this.

throw out all the silencers and just fit one small one and at least 63mm pipe right through.
hilux sfa -the only real 4x4!

Had mine done via steves auto clinic. Very happy and they were on the cheaper options. Probably the best SAC is in centurion... Not too far from you.

I did not do the branches. Was advised that the kzte branches is very much adequate as is. 65mm pipe from just after the branches to the back.

Did a powerflow free flow exhaust upgrade on last week Friday. Turbo spins up much sooner, more power from 1500 rpm onwards. From the turbo to the flex joint I have a 61mm pipe. Seems it came out standard with that. From the flex joint to the back I now have a single powerflow box and a pipe going out just before the rear bumper on passenger side. Total cost was R1600 normal steel. Diesel exhausts don't rust. The diesel soot prevents rust. So stainless steel is an overkill. I took the standard exhaust off in perfect condition. It was 13 years old.

Edit : it's a 63mm system from the flex joint.

I'm in Mosselbay and had my free flow done here - excellent job for under R1000. Definitely worth while! Maybe you can drive thru from Jbay and have it done here?
