Re: Aerial Footage
Pity it's so far away from the subject matter. It seems they get spooked and move off every time that thing comes anywhere near. Is it really that noisy?
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: Aerial Footage
It was about 15 meters and these animal has great hearing I recon if you go about 100m they will not hear anything.
But then you sit with the problem that the gopro do not see in that detail.

Re: Aerial Footage
Very nice, Christiaan! Sort of thing I'd have loved to do if I could get over my phobia concerning heights. A bit worrying at the end though, sounded like the engine was straining a bit - that is when I would be scared out of my wits :)

Re: Aerial Footage
I have goggles that lets you see out from the multirotor while standing on the ground and control it. The motors sound that way because it moves at around 10 000 rpm with a 10" blade attached to it.
