Fair price please - private sale for my KZTE 2003 4x4?

Post by anthonyhugo »

Hello I'm to advertize my KZTE privately

How much do you guys reckon is a fair price I could expect to sell her for?

These are the specs:

- 2003 KZTE with 230k on the clock
- White very good condition
- OME suspension
- BFG AT tyres
- SAC intercooler and chip
- TJM Bumper
- TJM Snorkel
- Seat covers
- Hella spots
- Mad Man engine monitoring system
- Tow bar
- DVD player with screen
- Dual battery system
- Canopy
- Load bin slider
- Full Wind Cheetah roof racks (front & back) incl. racks for kayak & fishing rods
- Not FSH but at a minimum new air filter, diesel filter, oil filter & new oil every 10k

Thanks for the advice in advance!

Regards
Ant

Well there is one for sail on car find. 2002 model with 212k on the clock for R159k. Doubt that they will ever see that amount.

I would say around R110k -R130k depending on kilos.

While still reading through your extras (before reading the comments), I was already thinking that R130k would be more than a fair price for the buyer. I think you should be able to get that, or very close, on an immediate sale (next few weeks), otherwise you could hold out for a while and maybe get R135 to R140k. Just the extras alone are close to R50k but of course you never get back what you paid for them and neither do you fully recover their 2nd hand value when sold as part of the vehicle package.

You could try sell some of those extras off separately if you really get stuck, and then reduce the vehicle price. This is often the better option since you could get a far better overall price (as much as R160k). In addition there will be fewer buyers for a vehicle kitted the way you have done it since everyone has different requirements and uses.

Good luck either way. ;-)

I agree with Andy...
Your vehicle is kitted out and it will take a special person looking for what you have....
Strip some of the extras off and sell seperate.....

Place some pics here and you might find buyers....
