I recently acquired a Merida Matts-20 and am clocking up some kilometres, but want to know if there are more cyclists in the Durbanville area that I can join.

Ek het besluit om van die pad af te bly want selfs 05:30 (in die somer) in die oggende is daar dom wetters wat jou van jou bike af probeer ry - ek ken te veel mense wat gelukkig was om net iets te breek na n skermutseling met n voertuig. Dan is daar die minder gelukkiges wat dit nie gemaak het nie.

Ek ry nou al ernstig vir die afgelope 6 maande.
Ek het al 14Kg verloor
EK ry meestal die Meerendal roete, maar ek trap hom van die huis af, dis dan so 40km
Ek het onlangs(saterdag) vir my 'n nuwe Titan Elite 29er gekoop, en dit maak 'n helse verkil !!
Hier issi pic van my nuwe fiets en, van my Sondagoggend vroeg bo op Meerendal
Ek het al 14Kg verloor

Het vandag saam met my seun die Jonkershoek roetes gedoen, die scenery is baie mooi en daar kom mooi rygoed verby.
O ja wat die trappery betref, gaan dit maar stadig, die ratio is 3 tot een, Werner doen die downhill drie keer en ek een keer in dieselfde tyd.
Maar volgende week sal ek beter voel, ek hoor Gysie en Willie en Willie trap dan saam.

Ek trap so 2 keer 'n week van die Kaap af Parklands toe, dis so 18 km. Neem my so tussen 40 en 45 min al met die fietsbaan langs. Ek ry deur die hawe en klim dan op marine drive. Dis lekker om die motors wat so in die verkeer sit verby te gaan. Ek ry gouer met die fiets huistoe middae as met die kar. Ongelooflik.
