Nog 'n v8 Lexus is klaar.
My Lexus conversion is ook klaar het al so amper 1000km. Het nou nog 'n klein probleem, wanneer jy met die bakkie ry en trap die excelarator hard is dit asof die bakkie net tot so 3000 ref gaan en nie verder wil nie. Maar as jy normaal ry is daar geen probleme tot op ongeveer 14okm dan voel dit asof sy so effens begin ruk-ruk tot jy vet bietjie los, dan kom sy weer reg. Het oorspronklike rekenaar gebruik en brandstog verbruik is so tussen 7.5 & 8km/liter. Verder loop sy soos 'n droom, dis net asof sy nie al die krag het wat sy veronderstel is om te he. Indien enige kommentaar of raad is welkom.

Looks very neatly done. hope you get your little problem sorted quickly. Sounds like fuel problem, but I dont have very much experience with a Lexus motor. Someone on the forum is bound to know and help you out.

Andries ek het besluit ek sal nie die conversion doen nie maar na die fotos is ek weer in two minds . Dit lyk stunning het jy dit self gedoen of laat doen.
Hoop jy kry die advies waarna jy soek.

hoe duk is die pyp wat uit die tank uit kom en maak seker dat die hp petrol pomp nie cavitate nie hoe dukker die toevoer pyp ma die hp pomp hoe beter en het jy dalk n filter voor die pomp gesit want ek het al gesien n paar ouens doen dit om te keer dat daar nie vuilgoed deur die pomp moet gaan nie as jy het maak maar ook seker dat sy in en ouitlet groot genoeg is . Ek hoop jy kom reg

juan die dikte van pyp vanaf petroltenk na filter is 12.5mm. Sy oorspronklike outo ratkas gebruik met adaptor. Andy ek wag juis vir een van Aliwal af om te restoureer. As jy ernstig is en bietjie kan wag, kan ons gesels.

Ja, ek is so half ernstig en glad nie haastig nie, maar as ek die ding doen dan sal dit definitief 'n handrat boks moet wees .... miskien KZ boks en diff. Dis sterker en dan is die verhouding tussen enjin revs en spoed ook beter. In elk geval het ek nog baie om te oorweeg en nog meer wat met die bakkie voorheen sal moet gebeur .... brieke, tenk, spaar wiel ens. Miskien volgende jaar, sal moet sien.

Ek hoor wat jy sê. Is self in die doodsnikke van my eie Lexus ombouing(vvti-standard ecu). En het 'n cone filter op gehad wat die selfde streke met my gedoen het.... So weer my voorstel, haal jou standard filter af en gaan ry 'n draai(teerpad verkieslik...haha stof en stuff in jou enjin ek besef die risiko).

Naand almal. Ek dink ook die probleem is tog by die air filter en feul pomp. Hoekom ek so se ek het die hilux vandag hard gery en gesien dat op so 140 begin hy swart rook soos 'n Diesel en ek hoor soms dat my feul pomp cavity.

Ek het my battery oorgeskuif na die L kant en toe n Izuzu 280 LE se donnoldson airfilter aandie regterkant ingesit. Sy in en uitlaat is baie groter en dit werk

Mofasa dit het my ongeveer.R38000 gekos maar ek het dit self gedoen.
