Help. Armadillo and fridge.

Post by Kaaskrul »

I'm no canopy fan, so with the new Hilux I bought a Armadillo Cover with rollbar almost brandnew from a buddy. So it is here in my garage, just need to be fitted.

Problem.

I have a brandnew used once Waeco 49liter fridge/freezer. It is 485mm high. It is sticking out higher than the sides  So cant go out and buy another one eish!!

What now???

Once the loadbin is rubberised, and fridge fitted onto sliding bracket, it will be even higher!! GRRRRR

Agh no man, cant believe my luck

Will gooi n few pics now.

Someone else had a simular problem and they just inserted a "spacer" between the loadbin and the armadillo

Wouldnt that lift the rollbar above the roofline of the cab? If I remember correctly the roll bar sits on plates above the armidillo?

AFAIK the rollbar is mounted onto the loadbed or the wheel arches and not onto the armadilo.

Baie nice!!

Dit werk vir my.

Sal nou rerig my laaste opsie wees.......... :surrender:

Geluk daarmee. ;-)
