Cool pics!
That tunnel and cave are intriguing .... what is the history behind it? The tunnel is obviously man-made ..... was it for mining? .... storage?

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

First off all - huge thumps up to all the ladies! You girls did awesome! Note - all the pictures above, I think 10 of the 12 vehicles was ladies driving. I know the one Jeep Grand Cherokee was a beginner, Adrian, who did just as well! The rest, all ladies! Well done!
Thanks to Jo, Fransico and Riana! Awesome day guys!
The cave is an old mine, cannot remember what, there is a larger open groove mine as well. That entrance is solid rock and goes in for about 50m. Then up. All done by man and hand. No machinery. Really amazing!

Re: Beginners / Ladies 4x4 day – Leeuwenkloof 9 Feb 2013
Thanks to all who joined us. It was great to see some old faces as well as meet a few new members. A huge thanks goes out to Jo for everything he and his wife did to make the day such a success. They went out of their way to make the day special for us all.
Sein was sleg toe kon ek nie bel nie. Charmaine, jy was uitstekend. :wink2:
Sal more so paar fotos post.
Well done to all.
