Looking for a reliable car dealer in Cape Town

Post by aretz1 »

Hi to all Toyota drivers from South Africa,
(I have problems with my old forum-registration, walteraretz)

you helped me a lot with the registration of my toyota 5 years ago.

Since I want to sell the car now, I am looking for a reliable car dealer in Cape Town, who could sell the car in my name and where I could be sure to get my money back in the end.

I am going to Southafrica next week, get the car and would like to give it to the dealer in Cape Town on 7 February.

Does anyone know a reliable, reputable dealer I can trust in?

Do I need to pay attention to anything in particular?

Greeting from the cold Germany
Walter

Walter, put the details of the car on this site.
Maybe you'll find a buyer.

On these old Hiluxes any dealer will screw you. They will give you R30,000 or R40,000 if it is in a good condition because that is what the "book" says it is worth.

My guess,

If you advertise it here and a few other 4x4 forums for around R75-85000 you should sell it pretty quickly!

Any other opinions on price?
