and self would not tinker with anything on it, unless full out modification was being done
extra oiling for the crank, like higher oil pressure and cross drilling of cranks for better lubrication. cant hurt, however those are practised mainly on high reving race motors
and the 4y and the V6, both have strong enough bottom ends that if build properly with good quality parts, should need no further modification
the V6 stock bottom end starts coming apart after 600hp

yes turbo and nos and used for drags
with steel crank I-beam conrods, turbo and nos and over 1000rwhp has been achieved
conclusion for what we are using them for, they are fine as they are
