Camping close to Springbok

Post by pietpetoors »

Hi
I will be going to Namibia for a quick visit to the Inlaws. I am planning on leaving on Thursday 19 June and drive up to Springbok. Sleep over there and then continue the next day. Do you guys know of a nice camping spot around there. Even if it is on the other side of Spingbok on the way to Noordoewer it would be fine.

I have caravaned at the Springbok Caravan park, and the wind nearly blew us away! Can't remember if there are lodges or anything there, but I would certainly stay there again, I enjoyed the town & the park.

Pieter, you *must* go for a meal to the Springbok Cafe, it is (used to be, anyhow, don't know about now...) one of the most interesting places anywhere! The whole history of the area is spread out in photographs along the inside walls of the cafe, it's extremely interesting. Eben, do you know if this is still the case?

Eben, aangesien ek nou 'n dag vroeër as beplan ry begin ek nou rondkyk.
Weet jy of daar so 'n pad loop?

Hi, ek sit nou hier in Springbok se kampeerterrein. Dis lekker koud hier. Ons het eers so 20h00 hier aangekom.
