Yes, Somewhere where we can sit and get to know one another. Does not matter if it is a picnic, braai or restaurant. I was just thinking of somewhere where the kids could play but that depends on the people who are joining and what they want to do. We want to get as many people involved because it is one thing meeting the people on line but to meet them face to face is a different experience.

Gilroy's also do a beer tour R80 per person, Gilsroy is a very funny and entertaining guy. worth it even if you go on your own, love the food and Gilroy was rated something like 7th best beer in the world

Okay so I tried to give them a call but got no reply. I have sent them an e-mail so will just wait for the response. The website looks interesting and have spoken with a few of my friends and they all say it is an awesome venue. Who would be interested in Gilroy’s??

I am just waiting for a call back from them. No one in the office when I called this morning but left a message with the reception. I will place all the details once I have spoken with them and then we can decide.

So Rusty contacted me and I told him that we want to have a little get together but could not give him an amount of heads but will confirm should we decide to go there.

Entrance is free and depending on the amount of interest we show he will be willing to set up a demarcated parking area just for us. Unfortunately this is not a place where we can braai or something so one must use their restaurant which might be a little expensive depending on what you want. I have the menu which I will try and post somehow or we could arrange a set menu type thing. This is also not a morning thing. It is for a whole day. They open at 11h00 and close at 18h00. There is lots of entertainment for the kids such as jumping castles etc and then there is a live show which starts at 13h00. This sounds like a lot of fun from what he told me (with a little added bonus just for us ).

Now it is decision time for us. Are we going to go for something like this? Me personally would want to do this because it would be fun for everyone and there is a little surprise…

Nope family restaurant, just not allowed at the bar
