Hi All,
Just fitted my new Cooper STT's - looks great on the lux - thanks for all the advice. Please help on the pressure I should be using on road, sand, and off-road. Thanks.

What size?
I run my 31"s on 2 bar on road.
Depending on the circumstances, I drop the pressure to 1 bar for the easy stuff. For hectic 4x4, 0.8 front and 0.6 back - unladen.
With regards to rotation, there are many schools of thought and everyone has their own opinion.
I will most probably get lynched but here goes.
Cross rotate every 5000km.
For 4 tyre rotation - Left front to Right rear and the same for the others.

They look real mean.
For tar driving pressure the best way is to do the chalk test.
Take a piece of chalk and mark the tyres at across the width of the tread and drive around the block. if the chalk line dissapeard evenly your pressures are righ but if only the chalk on the outside was rubbed off the tyres are too soft and vice versa.
For offroad driving it is a case of trail end error and continous exeperimentation until you get a feel for what work best, but yes about 1-1.2 bar is a good starting point when doing trails. If you do over-landing at higher speed then maybe a bit harder is necessary like for instance 1.5bar. This is so that you do not have too much instability due to side wall flex, but it will depend on the strength of the side wall and the load you carry.

Thanks guys :D - will definately try the chalk test - there is a slight whine but it's not that bad - can't wait to get them dirty.
