Ons is veilg by die huis. Die Hilux het hom regtig goed gedra! +- 1500km se grondpad en strand ry, shock mounting gebreek en n spotlight verloor, slegte gat in die pad gewees. Kon darem gou die shock probleem fix. Het net die shocks in hul oorspronklike mountings terug gesit. Verder geen probleme nie. Het 8km/l gekry, gelaai en canvas canopy. Fotos sal nog kom...

Ek het begin hiluxe afneem toe ons in Henties kom, maar dit het teveel geraak, vra vir Mark wat was sy eie woorde aan my.."ons moes eerder die record atempt in Nam gehou het."
Ek het wel die foto geneem, wie se lux is dit? Was voor Spar af geneem...

Was lekker om julle ook weer te sien!

Het nou gou die shock probleem op gelos, my ou shocks meet van onder tot by die plaatjie wat teen die schock mounting vas druk 430mm het nou ander ingesit wat 550 meet....baie beter. So as iemand met 'n standaard SFA belang stel in 2 amper nuut Rancho RS9000XL shocks, laat weet maar...

Nie seker nie, maar vermoed dis Giep van Zyl uit Kuruman ..... "Giep357" oppie forum, (hy pos nie maar lees wel wat hier aangaan). :think:

Man ek is happy met die nuwe shocks voor! Die lux het nog nooit so hoog sy bene op getel nie. Soos gister gese die nuew shocks meet 550mm van onder tot waar dit vasdruk teen die shock mounting. Ons het nou gou die lux op gelig om te kyk hoe ver hy gaan voor die wiel optel, ek meet 365mm van bo op die tyre tot teen die wheel arch en 956mm van die onder kant van die rim tot by wheel arch, en dan is die shock uitgetrek op 500mm so hy kan nog 50mm uit trek voor hy fully extended is, maar my briek pype trek nou styf, sal hulle die naweek nog langer laat maak!

Die X76 call sign sticker is een van myne.. en volgens my rekords het ek dit vir Wynand Shimano gemaak.. Maar hy het daardie Hilux al verlede jaar verkoop.. :twisted:
