Goed so vakansie tyd in Henties kruip al nader en vir een of ander rede is ek op my senuwees. Dit sal my eerste lang pad trip met die china 4y wees, die verste aan een lang pad was 280km (560 heen en weer) Oshakati toe gewees, die res is elke dag 120km werk toe en terug. So wat ek wil weet is: Wat pak ek alles in? Praat nou nie van verbande, silicone, steel putty ens nie.

Briek olie - het handig te pas gekom toe ons van Walvis na Windhoek ry via Spreetshoogte - my neef se regter agterbriekdrom het gedisintegreer - kon hom darem by die huis kry deur agterste brieke af te blok.

Het jy daai fongkong starter en waterpomp geruil met jou oorspronklikes?Indien nie vat maar die oorspronklike 4y sin saam my fongkong se starter het die eersta dag al opgepak dit is hoekom ek daai engin uitgehala het en die oorspronklike weer laat oordoen het en terug gesit het nog nie weer enige probleme gehaad nie,sal nooit weer die fong kong roete gaan na my ervaring nie,ek weet wel daar is manne wat weer geen issues het met hulle fong kong engines nie maar ja ek bly weg va ndit en hou maar by original

Het sover nog geen probleme gehad nie behalwe die carb, maar dis nou uit gesort. Het nou al so +- 5000km met die fong kong gedoen.

Besides everything mentioned, I packed in a mechanical fuel pump(pre EFi), box of matches and a longish fusewire!

KYK na die fan belts, as daar enige twyfel is VERVANG dit (n pel het juis Sondag probleme opgetel met n vanbelt - power steering belt, dit na al die ander belde n maand terug vervang is .... as daar twyfel is VERVANG dit)
Hoeveel myle het die plugs op ? ...
Vervang al die olies - en kyk of daar vylsels in is ....
Hy lyk die remme ? ....
nuwe filters ....
doen dit n paar weke voor die lang trip - doen n 1000+ kilos na die diens om seker te maak als is reg, en gaan GENIET daai vakansie

My fong kong het ek in Maart JHB Henties toe gery, en terug. Sover het my fonkong 17 000 kilos gedoen sonder enige probleme en hy trek soos n droom nadat Louis hom gehad het om te EFI. Dalk is ek net gelukkig met die een wat ek in het....
