Please stick to the following times as we do not want any delays that will affect the whole event.
Before 08:00
· All gates need to be set up and ready by 08:00.

12:30 – LUNCH
· All teams will be on a half an hour lunch break.
13:00 – The action continues
· Drivers, co-drivers and marshals continue with their second set of gates.
15:55 – Last gate ends
· If all goes according to plan, all the gates should be completed.
17:00 – Prize-giving
· The prizes will be given out via a lucky draw – keep your driver, co-driver or marshal number with you.
· Winners will be announced, and certificates and trophies will be handed out.
Scruteneering of vehicles
· Scruteneering of vehicles will be done by the marshals of all teams.

Final message from organizers:
The last two things …
Photo sessions
Please make sure that your club knows when your photo session is.
There will be a demarcated area where the photos will be taken – it is indicated on the Course Layout map that you will receive tomorrow.
Please make sure that your club goes to have your picture taken as you won’t be called
MC’s request
The MC asked if all Club Reps would be so kind to pop into the caravan throughout the day to talk about your club over the air waves.
So, start writing your speech! J
Well all that’s left for me to say now is … see you TOMORROW!
Pieter - will you do the honors to do the speach for us ! Thanks

I don't know if I missed this somewhere.
Do we have a Driver Team Captain, leader, representative ?
I remember last year when we gathered for the drivers briefing they called for the drivers captain and we did not have a nominated person.

Shaun, then you are our man.
Don't stress, nothing major.
Are there any plans for the drivers to meet up and drive together, or do we just get together at Melkbos.
See you guys tomorrow.

Re: Melkbos - interclub funday - 12 November 2011
What a great day !
It was a great to be a "normal member" for a change and let others handle the organization.
Ciske and the team, you guys organized a great day , thanx a million for the effort you guys put into this.
Thanx to George for Breakfast, it was GREAT, ons sal sorg dat jy volgende jaar weer daar is.
The Hilux Team won the reward for the best Marshals and we also won the last price for the driving part.
It was great fun and thank you for everybody who made it a GRRRRRReat day
We did not have many Hilux spectators and I would like to thank the See family - Johannes van die See, Meisie van die See and Kinders van die See who
came all the way from Langebaan to support their team. That is the spirit.
I gave my camera to Mr G (George) for the day and he took more than 500 pictures.
I will put all of it on a DVD (if it fits) and give it to Ciske. The guys who wants a free copy can collect from Ciske at Gomad.
Here are some of the pics. My head goes into a spin if I try to select the best so I just randomly selected some of the pics.
A NIKON Moment !!!!

Congrats to the HILUX BOYS and gals.
The day went well and I doubt anybody has any reason to complain.
The Hilux club even won a couple of prices, and a good number of lucky draw prizes as well.
PS - I will be posting a lot more pictures on the 4x4Community forum, under the Western Cape section

Re: Melkbos - interclub funday - 12 November 2011

Also a special thanks to mr B You did a great job on the obstacle.
To be honest I was a bit disappointing when we came last. BUT after some reflection I realise that this was a fun day and the majority of points was incurred by doing the extra things like throwing an egg at Bryce Lawrence(Well done Boetie),answering silly questions :shifty: etc.
Our drivers did a great job Since I had to take some pics.I followed our drivers to a few obstacle and have to commend them on the driving skills If anything we lost point on all the extra activities. But anyhows chin up it was a GREAT day.Thanx to all. Especially Ciske

In 2009 het hulle my ook betrek by dieselfde event, toe was dit by Dirt and Dust.
(gelukkig was daar genoeg ander marshalls, so ek het slegs foto's geneem). :)
Ten minste was die Hilux manne darem nie "te kwaai" met my nie. :)
