I did that trail a couple of years ago, didn't find it particularly challenging. If I was to go there again I would wait for it to be very wet, might make it more fun. Went with my Hilux and my friends 5.7 HEMI Jeep. Had to pack stones for the stupid Jeep but the Hilux had no problem. The mountain part of the trail was so not worth it, boring as hell. Really just a bumpy road with no challenge for a Hilux, although the Jeep had to take it a bit easy. It does not get to the top of the mountain which would actually make the schlep worth while, rather it ends in some short trees. Basically not worth the effort.
Just because it says "4WD" doesn't make it an off-road vehicle.

Het ook die roete gedoen so `n paar jaar gelede.

Aangesien ons heelwat voeruie was (10plus) was dit nogal `n tydsame proses om al die voertuie deur te kry.

Dit was egter die moeite werd.

Sou ook belangstel om dit weer te doen.

Daar is natuurlik nog `n ander roete ook in die omgewing.
