Post by Thabogrobler »

Baba is due July.

Die catch kom in by die prys: Wat ek vir my s/cab kry is wat ek kan spandeer - ideaal is 'n bietjie minder, maar laat ons sien hoe gaan dit.

Thabo, what is defined as slow??? Keeping up with the traffic in and around PTA & JHB with enough to power left to be stopped for speeding in a 4Y is not slow.

Also 7.5 - 8.0km/l is not that thirsty, but then again its not going to give you more as a KZTE is Diesel. The 2.7i will be giving you roughly the same consumption.

Noisy, can be solved on a weekend and a bit of sound deadning. I drive mine as a daily runner and found the noise level to be lower in my SFA than in a Citi Golf 1.3.

Sorry, but I think you should go drive a EFI'D SFA Hilux. Either 2.2 or 2.4 Petrol before deciding if it is really as "harsh" as you think.

Thabo, buy a SFA and EFI the engine. It's a performer and keeps up with traffic, no problem. Then install aftermarket suspension, as Andy says. Daryl from Mikem can advise you here. The SFA is a dying breed, grab one while you still can.

If I were ever forced to sell Bulldog or White Fang, it would be a most difficult choice indeed. I love them both!

Vat nou maar my woord, daai laat 90's 2.4 Nissans is dors...4-5km/liter in my ondervindinge (maatskappy voertuig) dis hoekom die ouens 3.0's koop....

As ek moet petrol betaal, wil ek ten minste bietjie krag he daarvoor.

Mmmmm...

Kom oins doen sommetjies:
SFA in billike toestand R50 000(If you arevery lucky!)
OME suspensie R12000
EFI R10000?

Totaal R72000.

Ek weet nie so mooi nie.

Onthou een ding Thabo, RENAULT besit Nissan so as jy nou n Nissan koop ongeag nuut of 2de hands, gaan jy Renault pryse betaal vir Onderdele op daai voertuig.

As hulle dit so maklik regkry, wil ek nie n Renault of n Nissan op my erf in my naam he nie....
