New hilux bumper, airbags, sabs and insurance....

Hi there..

Im getting my Hilux in about 7 weeks time, inter splinter nuut, uit die box. But, what the sales lady could not tell me was wether putting on an offroad bullbar would affect

1. the airbags
2. warranty
3. Insurance

Any answers would be greatly appreciated, and if anybody knows of someone in the Brackenfell (WEstern Cape) area that can do these bumpers and not screw the above mentioned. please let me know..

Hi Wouiter,

It shouldn't... but to be doubly sure, you could always ask the Dealer to have the Bull Bar fitted for you before delivery. The Sales Lady should be able to get the necessary info from the Dealer Principal, her Boss.

ARB bulbars are airbag compatible, so get the dealers to fit it for you, then it is sommer their baby if you have have any issues with it.

Good idea, will surely speak to dealer principal when I get back, and also thansks for the bumpers that will work! GOt a Nomad on the Landy, but yeah, anyway. Last question Im at the closest toyota dealer at the moment, have not signed the papers yet, they have been helpfull up to this stage except for trade in and this bumper issue...anybody recomend a dealer that has given them exceptional service?

Oh...and getting the 3.0D Double Cab (white) ....my very first own bakkie!

hoor nou net, ek praat hier van ernstige sake, dan wil jy nou kom grappies maak, waar is WP nou ooit as ernstig opgevat, Nee wat, hul moes die brannewyn en coke (light) uitgeruk het toe hul my sien kom, mos champion material of hoe?

Nee wat, dink is oor ek aanvanklik gevra het hul moes vir my twee karre intrade, en die een tjor is so ietwat, wild geprys (try ontslae raak van die ding, 3.2 V6) en het hom maar net n jaar, so ek gaan baie verloor. ma nou ja, soek daai bakkie!

So ja, enige iemand great service erens gekry het, laat weet maar samblief
