Greeting from across the border
Hi Everyone
Greetings from Botswana,
Just collected my Hilux D4-D 3.0 Diesel 4x4 on Friday (28 May 2010) and been sampling a few choice back roads around the Gabz area.. 8 )
Done a few trips up north and had to sell my Nissan Murano, wasnt the right car for the job, and now got the car I have wanted for a while now.
Anybody planning trips up to Bots, drop me a line I will help out where I can.
Will post a few pics of the car once i get the hang of this forum

Re: Greeting from across the border
That Murano wasnt a bad drive, used to use it Gabz/JHB and back on the week-ends... was a great car for the highway but off road (even just sand roads) was getting buggered....
and the maintenance of that car was insane R6,850 for a major service before anything extra...
and at R3500 a tyre was just insane... Dunlop made a speicialsed tyre for that car... only ones who made that size
But really happy with my Hilux now :) :)
