Re: TopHilux Hilton's Hilux
Hi TopHilux,
Awesome Looking Hilux. Really like the Bumper in front. I am considering to fit that exact one to mine at a later stage. Still saving for a lot of things..........
Your friend's Hilux looks like little Bigfoot.......... :D
Tell us more about the engine conversion and what its like to drive.

Re: TopHilux Hilton's Hilux
Hi Johan.
I'll get the thread where I gave some info on the conversion, and post the link here.
To drive this thing is amazing... Actually on Wed night myself and my friend were jaaging like real hooligans. He drops me at pull away for about 5m with his 2.2 SFA with branches & what else. As soon as I change into 3rd I'm gone....but really gone !!..
On a trail its even better. Keep it at 2000rpm and its unstoppable.

It's called a NudgeM. Built in Germiston. I think they're going for about R6500.00 now.SuidWes wrote:Very nice :!: What make is the bumper, have not seen one like that before?

Re: TopHilux Hilton's Hilux
Johan, here is the whole post and link.
I already posted the following, but I'll post it here too
viewtopic.php?t=133
The bellhousing must be changed.
Clutch kit is R4200..!!!!!
The radiator is bigger and longer.
The electronic fuelpump can be swapped with the 3000D's one. (unless you want to fiddle with computer boxes) so then its a mechanical fuelpump and referred to as the KZT and not the KZTE (some people hammer on that... )
Cant think of anything else right now..but you're welcome to shoot more questions...
Mine is the Prado KZTE (Aliminium head & different Turbo)
Power figures for:
Prado KZTE
85KW
343NM
Hilux KZTE
85KW
315NM
My fuel consumption in the region of 7.5 - 8.5 l/km @ 120km/h @ 2750rpm
The whole conversion set us back +- R30K
