Go local.........Mikem Suspensions in JHB (via a local fitment centre in Parow) has a good reputation.

Read my post about Ironman suspensions under the heading of Good Service. Their latest range is very good and very competitive prices compared to the competition.

My opinion? .... for an SFA you can't beat OME, but they're very pricey. The local Mikem stuff is surprisingly good and probably compares very well with most of the rest, and you'll be assured of good service (before and after sales), which in itself is worth a lot. ;-)

I have fitted OME long time ago (round about 2002) and paid R 15000 then :shock2:
I was always wondering whether the OME allowed for better articulation than the OEM?

Much better, and vastly improved ride comfort!

I asked Hoppy about replacing my shocks when the time comes
and he recomended Rancho shocks, which he uses himself.

They are also adjustable with a turn knob to stiffen or soften
the shock itself and they were reasonably priced, +-R1000 a shock IIRC

My suspension is still good according to Hoppy so I didn't do any other research
into costs and stuff.
