Hi All
I have found some posts on the 4.0l V6 but not on 2.7vvti.
Can anyone tell me if they have done a de-cat on the 2.7vvti.
I have done some searching and I know the 2.7vvti has 2 x Cats, U55 & T30.
I am planning to take mine out this weekend, now that it is out of its warranty.
Is there anything FUNNY I need to know before taking this on?
This will be a DIY plan, probably with a dropper and hammer to break them out as I want to keep the boxes as is.
Here is a few pics I have.

Shouldn't be a problem. I can't fault your method as it is the same what an exhaust shop would do.

Hi Manne
Sommer vroeg vanmore uitgehaal, my so 1uur en 'n half gevat met goeie hulp van 'n vriend.
Bakkie se klank is bietjie harder, reen katte en honed in Kempton so kan nie so lekker toets nie.
Will keep you up to date on the good results
