I see you used the mitzi one of the 2.8
where did you buy your bonnet scoop?
why did you remove the thermo activated fan?

Thanks Rick. I bought the intercooler like that without a fan from GI- (Gedeon) the fan will still come. The scoop I bought in town at bosvelt spare.

Buks, op low down tork reageer sy beter. EGT gauge wys ook baie laer en klim nie meer so vinnig waneer ek opdraande ry nie. Het nog nie ver gery nie. Wil dalk vandag gou so draai ry om te kyk wat is die verskil op die oop pad. Ja Mark, ek was op bystand gewees en n braai is ok nie baie lekker sonder n koue een nie. :thumbdown:

So was die naweek tzaneen toe met die trok. Dit is die eerste lang pad wat ek gery het nadat ek die intercooler opgesit het. Het soos n droom gery. Die warm word storie lyk is verby. Temp gauge was heeltyd onder half en die EGT se hoogste lesing was 590 grade teen so 130Km/h. :dance1: :dance1:

met snorkel op.( dankie Gerrie vir die idee) dit was naal byt gewees om seker te maak die gat sit op die regte plek. Dit is ongelooflik hoeveel lowdown tork daar nou is. hy kan nou uituindelik asem haal nadat ek die intake gat groter gamaak het.

Nico, dit lyk heel goed. So intercooler maak 'n lekker verskil.
Ek wat die 4y gewoont was like nou hoe die 2.5tdi fordtjie trek.

Die intercooler kom van n 2.8 Toyota diesel
Ek het n meganiese pomp op denso tipe
Genoeg krag. Daar het nog noot n sfa my verbygevat op die snelweg nie

Radiator: ek dink dit kom ook van n 2.8 af.
Diesel verbruik : enige iets van 8.3 tot 9 km/l afhanged hoe hastig en gelaai die van is.
