So today I had a levelling kit fitted to the front suspension, done at the local Supa tyre, exhaust & shock absorber dealer. (sic)
All went well, wheel alignment done and off I went. It wasn't long until I heard a knocking sound from the front left hand side of the car.
After the front left wheel was removed, we found that the fitment dude kindly stripped the threads on the upper stud assembly that attaches the stabilizer bar to the strut. The nut can no longer be tightened to the correct torque.
Being 12h30 on a Saturday I was told to bring the car back on Monday to sort out the problem....Boy was I the m@er in!
I urgently need this sorted out before next weekend's get together at Kareekrans.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement part in a hurry? I will argue the matter with the fitment centre afterwards.
