Easy access to my African Outback roof rack?

Post by Whiteley »

Hi Guys

I have fitted an African Outback roof rack on the roof of my bakkie, now I see there is a problem, how do I access it more easily than climbing like a monkey? Haha

Is there ladders or something that I can fit? Photos and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see the problem - jy het mos nou 'n roofrack waarop jy 'n leer kan vasmaak

I have seen some step that one fits over the rear wheel and climb up, can be used either side. Sorry no pics.

Ek het die foto gekry opi net, maar weet nie of dit net op rhino racks werk nie, kan seker ook net 'n gewone daktent se leer gebruik?

Fit a spare wheel swing-arm at the back (if you don't already have) .... you get a big circular clamp that fits over the tyre and the clamp has a couple of foot holds on it (think they're available from Frontrunner). ;-)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Nah, first step up is the bumper, thereafter it's easy. ;-)
