Hilux accident: Photos - Pre and Post Repair

Post by Optom »

We had an accident and rolled the Hilux - See photos pre and post repair - Hennie Kruger in Heidelberg (Gauteng) did the repairs
For R15500.00. I think he did a neat job. Only extra I added were rear seatbelts
I still need to get the decals and the gutter strips also need replacement which Hennie still needs to do - all included in the price

Hi Riaan sorry to hear but very neatly repaired. Will you say that the rollbar did its purpose ?

Hi Everdt, ek dink so ja, die agter deel van die kajuit het baie min gebuig, die vensters nie eers gebreek nie - my opinie: Enige bakkie moet 'n ordentlike rollbar he

Dankie ek het so vermoed.

Guys, I have seen Riaan's car - the repair is unbelievable! Riaan obtained other quotes varying from R50k - R60k and not one of those panel beaters would be able to better Hennie's job. The only part that Hennie replaced was the front fender, as it is cheaper to replace than repair in that instance.

Werner, that was a complete respray all over as well as a black spray in the load bin.

Hennie deserves the Hilux stamp of approval!

Wow… Excellent work. Looks great…

After trying to fit 4 steel Hilux rims and a tire on top of my rr on my Surf the one rim slipped and slid down the rear left hand side of the car and resulted in a dent. Blond moment… The paint chipped and is starting to rust so need that repaired as well. Might be worth a try.

That SFA has a very nice engine too! After a 4Y EFI conversion, the next best engine for a SFA is a 2700i. I tried to get Riaan to scrap the car so that I could score the engine, but he wasn't biting... :beg: :boss:

George, you *do* remember I said you were a bit hasty, your car did not suffer anything like the damage that Riaan's did.

(But at least I scored some nice LTD rims from you!
