Would you buy a 4x4 2.8 that had been a rental
We are being offered a 2018 hilux 2.8 4x4 that for around 18 months had been hired out by a rental company called, we think, Bushwhackers. The front and rear shocks have been replaced more than once and we have a full Toyota service history. 87k., and 3 month of warranty left. Should we buy from a Toyota dealer? Any advice appreciated. Regards and keep safe.

That would depend on the price I guess. If you can find a similar vehicle for a price in the same range then NoRicharg wrote:We are being offered a 2018 hilux 2.8 4x4 that for around 18 months had been hired out by a rental company called, we think, Bushwhackers. If its priced well below the going rate it might be worth the risk

Bushwackers is a reputable company. I won’t be concerned making a purchase from them. I know a person who bought from them.

They have to keep their vehicles in good condition for their clients.
I would not be concerned.
Rental companies sell their vehicles at set kms or years of ownership.
If it falls inside those parameters, it will be fine.
Also, if it has warrenty left, it should have a full Toyota service and recall history.
Take the VIN number to Toyota for the information, for peace of mind.
