Shocks of Hilux

Post by Qulari »

I have just got my new Hilux 4x4, thanks for payday loans in LA... sold a T6 Ranger.

What shocks is available to make the ride a bit more comfortable?
I had ironman many year ago and that made the ride harder. Do this shocks good for Hilux it's for Ranger.

I dont want to lift it, just want better road holding at the back end/axle and a bit softer ride if in any way possible.

Hi and welcome Michael!

I don't know what brands are available in the UK but if you can get Monroe shocks they give a softer ride. Also take cognisance of the fact that by far the vast majority of ride comfort is determined by the front suspension, so look at that first. Also, you might not want the rear to be too soft if you carry loads regularly .... you could instead just put a couple of sand-bags in the bin (right back towards the tail-gate) which will calm the rear down. :winkx:
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
