Parts availability.

Post by Remus »

Hi guys, quick question, how easy is it to still get over the counter parts for the sfa models? I hate having to import parts for a vehicle. Seeing that i want to buy my first sfa, just want to make sure i dont screw myself over again.
Thanks

Most mechanical parts still available, some body parts as well but interior and cosmetic bits can be a pain. I don't think that you'll have any regrets unless you're going to buy a project vehicle that needs extensive repairs. :winkx:

Parte sal mens kry, dit kos net soek

IIRC someone on this forum had some decals made for this. Maybe check the archives.

Master or slave?

As far as I know, both are still available from the dealers - a bit on the pricey side, but I believe it's worth it in the long term .... the pirate parts haven't lasted for me.

Yeah, That's the master.

I would ask them if they could check if there is a unit available at one of the other dealerships around, or phone around yourself. If no luck there, then you will have to go for a kit or look at the compatibility of units from later models that are still available, like the IFS maybe.
