2013 SRX 16''steel rims and tires sizes

Hallo,
question regarding tyres for my 2013 SRX with OEM 16' steel rims: what would be the widest recommended tyre one should fit on these rims?
Spec is 205/80R16, alternative is 235/70R16
I would like to fit decent tyres with 75 or 80% profile and stronger sidewall, but am not sure if it will fit the steel rims? Not really looking for wider but higher. And not really looking for a lift either.
245/75R16 tyres seem to be more available?
Else, I should start looking for mags

Stel jy nog belang om mags op jou bakkie te sit?
Ek het tans "16 x 8.5 zero offset Aline Rims" op my bakkie. Ek sal verkies om dit terug te verander na die staal rims toe.
Indien jy belangstel kan ons dalk ruil.

I got a set of second hand 15" toyota rims and put the 31" tyres on. When I had my hilux . Or else just go with the 245/70 R16 .

Hendrik, 8.5" wydte rims is te wyd vir my. Soek iets soos 7" want is op soek na hoer profiel band. En dan moet ek breer band ook vat. Miskien is 15" rims die beter opsie

I've got a set of 16 inch rims (they are LX Isuzu rims, very well sort after and 265 75 16 BF muds.

Hi Pieta,
I have the 15" white rims on my 93 Hilux DC 4x4. Running 30x9.5x15 BFs (245/70/15). The BF has a higher sidewall than the Wrangler and the Coopers. Might be what you are looking for. The 9.5 is only 245 wide and sidewall180mm high. You can even try the 31x10.5x15 BF (265/15, wall 200mm) or 32x10.5x15 BF (265/15, wall 210mm).

Piet ek dink nie die 15'' pas op die 2010 en ouer Vigo's nie.
My SRX, 2010 model, het uitgekom met 16'' staal rims.
Ek het later 245 bande opgesit
