Hi Guys,
I have a Toyota Hilux KZ-TE 3.0 she's a 2001 model. Last night on the way home i heard what sounded like a weed eater going on, this came and went intermittently. I'm to scared to drive her now. Any advice on what it could be.

Re: Advice
Perhaps the radiator fan? Something may have broken off creating an imbalance that is now causing the noise? Does the noise change with the revs of the engine?
The interior fan is working fine?

Welcome Tina!
Could you try be a bit more specific about the noise, loud / very loud, as Gernot asked does it change pitch with changing engine revs / is it present only when you are moving or stationary as well /where does it sound like it's coming from?
