Alarm sound when locking and unlocking my Hilux
I want to know if someone can tell me how to disable the alarm sound when I lock or unlock my 2017 Hilux 2.8GD6. This is annoying and apparently there is a wire you must install to silence this alarm, someone that perhaps know where this wire must be installed.

It is recommended you do not disconnect it, as this will disable the entire alarm "sounding" in the event of a break in no sound will be emitted.
So to make it more comfortable, replace the HOOTER which is located under the bonnet on the right side, close to the fire wall, with a siren (available from Midas etc)
on mine, I have added duct tape over the opening to soften it even some more.
This works, now my neighbors and my Wife, even my dogs are all happy.
