Sani Pass

Post by Donkey »

Was at Sani Pass this past weekenk, happy to announce that the club business card is still there, yay!
Must say the pass itself could have been done in a platkar.
Interestingly found another difficult pass (name unknown) between Thaba Tseka and Semonkong (following Track4Africa) - some sections the road isn't seen, up the pass itself we had to pack rocks to make roads, on some death inflicting cliffs. A 25km trip took over 5 hours, that said I have the utmost respect for the new 8 speed Amarok, never thought a day would come admitting such.

Did you drive the Amarok for that 4x4 show? Test driven one 3 weeks ago....also surprised at what you get vs the Hilux. 2nd hand wise you get a lot more bang for your buck, but you'll be sitting on the other end of the stick when you sell again, Hilux has better reasle value.
