Post by turbo6906 »

Hi all,

I think this will be fun.

What are your hobbies and/or passtimes other than off-roading?

I find this kind of stuff interesting.

ill start.

I enjoy hunting and fishing, cooking and working on my cars.

Morning fellows,

I have a few hobbies / passions:

Cooking
Playing mechanic
Building / flying model aircraft
Fishing, but since this became a mass-sport, I have stepped back.

Caring for my family. This is my passion.. Wife, son, daughter, 3 dogs, 6 cats and 5 Koi fish.

Currently:

4x4ing & camping
Domestic DIY ie from brickwork to electrical (more out of necessity than anything else, comes with home ownership I guess)
Metalwork, love welding.
Braai - actually more of a religion than a passtime
This forum instead of working

Not so active anymore:
Model aeroplanes; building & flying.
Fishing; papgooi & bass.

Done before:
Raced karts in PE; 125cc Rotax classes. Quit in 2007 as I couldn't afford it anymore; really miss it though..

I have 8 or 9 rods / reels gathering dust because we are no longer allowed on the beaches with vehicles and I'm not going to walk up the coast.

I have a collection of modern and antique firearms, but can't get any more because our govt says I have too many.

I have a small collection of military edged weapons.

Love hunting ... sometimes with a camera instead of a rifle. Love the outdoors.

Enjoy tinkering and fixing stuff.

Have a passion for the SFA Hilux!! It likes the outdoors / veld / bush / rocky trails and this forum as much as I do!

;-)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
