RC Aircarft Trainer needed

Post by Selous »

Hello to all.

I have a RC airplane that I have had for a long time and have never been able to get comprehensive tutoring. I have flown twice with my trainer but still need allot of guidance before I can go solo. If there are any tutors in the area surrounding Montana, Bon Accord, or even on the plots in the Rooiwal or Bultfontein areas please contact me.

I am very keen to get to the level where I can fly alone as I live on a plot and have ample space. If guys inthe area are looking for a spot to fly contact me as well.

Cheers

Hi Paul,

Nice to see a fellow modeller here!
I've been in the RC game since '99; although I haven't flown much from 2005-2007 ; raced karts for a while.
Been flying off & on since then, got busy with home renovations & then the move from PE last year...

I flew mostly Correx planes since 2002 somewhere. I would love to come fly at your spot; just need to redo the Fuse on my Spazzler...became brittle so I had to toss it. I have a buddy cord for my JR radio & I fly mode 2.

PM me.

Good Morning

I live in the Cullinan area on a farm so also a lot of space for flying. My brother in law and i are playing around with rc helicopters but flying mostly on the simulator because it is much cheaper than a crash kit. After most of the landings we still have to bend more than once to pick up our aircraft.

So if someone can give us some tips/help it will be much appreciated. Or if someone want some flying space you re welcome.

I started on a Stick 40 and changed later to a 4star 40, later I scaled up the plan by 20% with a 80 four stroke flat twin what a nice plane
Had a Space walker 1/4 scale that I never built

My first plane was 40 size Stick :D:

I always wanted a 1/4 scale Giles, Extra or a ..uhm..can't remember the name

My list of planes I had:

Stick 40 trainer (balsa) with Magnum 46
Bingo 40 (balsa) with Magnum 46
P41D Mustang 40 -60 (Balsa) Irvine 53
Demon 40 (correx) with 53 ASP
Weevil reverse delta (Correx) 53 ASP
Spazzler (correx) with Irvine 53
SPA3D (correx) wit ASP 53
Ddust delta (correx) with 32 Thunder Tiger
Another Spazzler with Irvine 53

That Ddust was awesome, clocked +- 160km/h, couldn't even blink
I have pics somewhere on DVD will look for it.
