Go Cart Racing Day

Hi all.

Everyone always says they are going to do it, but no one ever does ... So now I'm going to do it and see if I can organise a BIG go cart racing day.

I'm inviting everyone I know that might be interested. From my SwartSkaap friends, 4x4 friends, work colleagues, people from school etc etc etc. If you want to come and bring someone else with (Friend/family member) let me know. The catch is we need to be ATLEAST 24 ppl. 36 will be better :) Or even 48. Depending on how many we are, what kind of race we have and how long we race will determine the price. If we race endurance race in teams, then I would guess we look at around R150 - R200 each. It would be great if we can race in teams. For example one team from the Hilux 4x4 club. One team from SmartSurv. One team from the BlackSheep. One from school. Etc etc.

I'm looking at 20 October. I know it's still far off, but it will give everyone enough notice time to plan and have open. If you don't want to race, feel free to come join us just for the day. Please let me know who wants to join in a day of go cart racing!!!

Hi all.

I want to actually book the event. Are we going to do 3 or 4 hours endurance race? If 8 drivers per team, then a 4 hour race will give each person 30 mins of drive time spread over those 4 hours. IF we are full teams, then a 4 hour race will cost each person around R167. A 3 hour will be R142. A 2 hour R115. Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks Stefan for organising the event, we should do more events like this!

The turn-out was good and we had great fun, i don't know how my arms are going to feel tomorrow, those 70+ laps are already taking their toll.
