The season opens on 15 Nov 2010 for sport divers ....

Are we going to do a camp weekend and get some weskus food?

The weekend of 20 Nov is the 1st weekend after opening day. Anyone joining?

Thys, the Saturday will be nice, peaking at 25 degrees at 12h34 and at 13h13 the wind will start to blow about 12.3 knots South Easterly.
Sunday will be wind still and a beautiful day

Vir die wat gaan kamp die naweek, ek stel voor ons kamp meer na Perlemoenvlei se kant toe.
Daar is n nice groot rots wat die wind bietjie sal breek vanaf die see se kant en dan is ons ook
naby die krappe!?
Ek is net nie seker hoeveel tente daar sal pas nie omrede sommige mans van hul spasie hou.

Some things are easier said than done... I need to buy a porta anyway(summer camping season starts soon) and would love one of those gas fired shower goodies... then I'd need a water tank and pump as well... it never ends... it just never ends...

Thanks for the laugh Thys! Can you demonstrate... got to watch the currents... you don't want to backwash! Could get messing!

Nou praat julle. I am there with julle ouens. Just one small problem, I do not eat crayfish

but i will be a team player and buy a permit and donate my/your catch to the pot. Is the campsite woman friendly? Me personally have had many a aquaturd, so I can survive anywhere, its the misses I am concerned for. Might be better to make it a boys weekend.

Now a question for the local manne. Is there any fishing spots close by?

Nugget, there is plenty a fishing spot boet!

No worries about that!

WRT womanfriendly, there is no ablusion facilities, but town is +-5km away. I'l speak to my PO
about making our shower and loo at home available for the woman. Will get back on this.
The gratefull hubbies can then make direct payment to me in Heiniken en Crayfish for use of such
facilities!

Otherwize, boys weekend is also fine with me!

Tertius, daar is seker nie 'n beter manier om vroulief se verjaarsdag te vier is langs die see nie.

Johannes ek het ook 3 of 4 nette, sal net moet loer. Ek goou gewoonlik net 2 nette af as ek met die kayak uitgaan.

Bring saam Pieter, daar is geen limiet op hoeveel nette mens uit gooi nie, net op hoeveel kreef jy uit haal.
Hoe meer nette ons uit gooi hoe makliker kry ons kwota!

Trekoskraal is nie n kampeer area nie, dit is n privaat plaas met n geproklameerde pad wat toegang bied tot
die kuslyn.

Daar is geen toilet geriewe nie, geen water geen krag, alles wat jy benodig sal jy moet saam neem.

As jy goed toegerus is is dit nie ongemaklik vir vroumense nie maar met n naweek soos die kan dit dalk ongemaklik raak
vir die mamma's tensy daar gereel word om iemand se huis in Vredenburg te geruik vir daaglikse stort en toilet geriewe.

Trekoskraal se afdraai is op die pad tussen Vredenburg en Paternoster, die grondpad draai af na links en kan nie gemis word nie,
daar is n groot pad teken bord wat die naam aandui.

Die area waar gekamp word is min of meer 6km uit Vredenburg.

Die mense met gesinne kan dalk by Tietiesbaai in paternoster kamp en net vir die dag deur ry.
Leentjieskilp in Langebaan is ook opsie, net verder om te ry.

Ek het gehoor die Saldanha kampeerterrein is in die laaste tyd maar 'n hool oor naweke

Hi Guys, am interested, are we camping overnight there Fri / Sat ?? no ablusions etc is not a problem for me or the girlfriend (she's a vet so can handle it

)....any rough times when we are meeting etc...cheers Stubs...lastly if i get my permit in Hermanus is it valid for use up the west coast, and what must I select East coast or west coast lobster thats on the form or must I select both, (sorry I'm a "soutie"....am trying.....

Hay stuart, the west coast permit is valid from hermanus right up to alexanderbay, so u only need to tick the west coast lobster box, i think its about R75, and u can get it at any post office
