10km before Bronkhorstspruit, I recommend to make it a camping weekend if you do go.

So on saturday I met Rigardt at the Heidelberg 4x4 trail. Took me 2.5 hrs to get there!

It was a beautiful day - befitting for 1 september.

We weren't able to get a proper map showing the 4x4 trails and spent the day poking around the mountain side. It was actually great fun as it gave you the impression of exploring!

Anyhow we did quite a few obstacles and eventually finished up at around 12 after which we went back to base and enjoyed a leisurely braai.

Most of the obstacles weren't too bad but there were one or two that got the adrenaline going.

My 10 year old son was with me so I did not take many photos however Rigardt and his co-driver were able to take a few and he has promised to post them for us.

It was good fun all round. All we shorted was a couple of club members!

Thanks Rigardt, without you I would have spent my saturday on the couch watching rugby!

Shane, what engine do you have in the SFA? As I recall you bought it with a Prado 3.4 engine fitted but I seem to recall you replaced this motor?
