Mc Carthy Rhino 4x4 Trail GTG 18th April 2015

Post by Thunder02 »

Hi All, I have contacted Mc Carthy Club, and have received some information. The following dates are available for the trail
29th March
11th and 12th April
18th April

The trail will cost R150-00 per vehicle and a guide will be provided.

I have also been informed there will be a night drive on the 21st of March, I am waiting on further info and will post ASAP.

Date 18th April 2015

I will not be driving the trail, will be running a survival coarse just down the road at Kungwini, but will make an effort to pop in later on the day.

Did not forget, awaiting the details. Trail drive starts at 10 am, depending on amount of vehicles, it affects the time. Will have a braai afterwards, around 4:30 pm.

On another forum I was told that I dont need to remove my two rtts for this trial. Can anyone confirm this? I would like to use the rtt as sleeping areangements for the night at kungwini and an upcoming trip in very near future... And too lazy to remove and reinstall if not needed.

I know someplaces (like berakah) is a no go due tonheight restrictions. Thanks

Hi all, I will arrange that the payments be done to our club, Thinus has asked that we do one bulk payment.(better control from their side)
If we could be there at 8am for drivers briefing and coffee(please bring), the trail drive has been moved to 9am, due to the amount of vehicles.
We are looking at 4 to 5 hours being on the trail, so refreshments on the trail will be needed. Please no alcohol on the trail.
After the trail, for those that want to, braai facilities will be available, need to bring own meat, salad(chicken) and drinks.

Cost of Trail R150-00 per vehicle, not per head.
I will post bank details shortly.
