Hi Hiluxers

This is not an official club GTG and i dont want to step on any body

BUT

I want to plan a weekend at Rust de Winter Bundu Trail, we need a min 10 max 15 vehicles to do this trail. I have done a pre booking for the weekend 1st to 3rd March 2013.
This will be an awsum weekend.....
For every one interested please can you put your names on the list....

Unless the price changes between now and next year.
The price is R450 per vehicle
If your vehicle has 6 seat belts in it you ma have 6 people in the vehicle and the price is still the same.

List of what is needed.....

1. 5 litres of drinking water per person
2. Own camping equipment (tent, sleeping bags, mattress, refreshments)
3. Own recovery equipment
4. Own Braai Grid (Flip over grid)
5. Sunday morning breakfast
6. Please remove running boards and excaliburs.

Trail starts from Rust de Winter camp at 10h00 on the Saturday and participants will be back in camp by 14h00 on the Sunday.

Ok Guys and Gals

We need to put a positive booking for this weekend.
If you would like to pay now, I'm sure we can secure it at R450 as i have been informed that their MIGHT be an increase for next year.
So lets not take the chance of an increase.......

We need a min of 10 positive paid vehicles then we will secure the weekend.

I have spoken to Cassie and we are welcome to use the clubs account for all payments.

Please use your forum name followed by "RdW0313" as your reference for payment.
Eg. MOFASA RdW0313

If im not mistaken this is the account details......

[clubbanking]UserName - Rdw0313[/clubbanking]

Please email proof of payment to clubadmin@hilux4x4.co.za so they can keep track of payments and update the list......

I asked Peter Claasen about this, He said the clearence sounds fine but if your side steps dont have a rock slider type frame then he surgests you remove them....

At the end he said Its your choice but does not want to be held liable for any damage to them if they do get damaged......

I asked Peter Claasen about this, He said the clearence sounds fine but if your side steps dont have a rock slider type frame then he surgests you remove them....

At the end he said Its your choice but does not want to be held liable for any damage to them if they do get damaged......
Thanx for the info Johnno. In this case please remove my name from the list .I do not want to damage my steps and also not in the mood to remove them. Will join your people on the next one.

Johno is this not clashing with the charity event in March next year? But otherwise sounds like good fun. Will still have to confirm my schedule next year, please put my name down tentatively

Sorry I do not agree with this, you said in your earlier posts that payment should be finalised 1 month in advance. I do not want to loose my spot cause I can't pay now. Would you give up your spot cause you haven't payed yet?

I didnt say i would kick anyone off the list i just said im sure we can organise something......
Now organising something might have ment that i would approch each person and ask if they were dead set on doing the trail or that I would try to get RdW to allow 16 vehicles and not 15 like we have now.....

Just to set things straight a plan has been made and NO BODY is loosing their spot on the list.........

I have spoken to Peter and he will allow 16 vehicles but NO MORE......
So CLEANER you are in luck and you are on the list for sure.....

I sure am looking forward to this weekend, its gonna be AWSUM...

Gr8 people, Awsum trail, wicked vehicles......
Thats the recipe for an AWSUM, Fun filled weekend.....

:cooldude: :yahoo: :celebrate: :excited:

I know this is way to soon but maybe we should look into the convoy time and starting point....
And another thing, the Saturday night up on the mountain and ideas on the braai, should we all club in, or every body takes what they want and we just sit braai and enjoy the company??
They sort of manage that part for you as they make a large fire at one specific spot. There is limited space on top of the mountain. You can however braai on a skottel or something if you want.

Cool so the fire is taken care of as its only supposed to be in one spot...
So now we know we'll be chilling round a fire talking about Hilux stuff and the events of the day....

Willem your 2 places are on the waiting list. IF anyone on the main list of MAX 16 vehicles pulls out you will be the first to fill that spot.....
Thats the best i can do for you or anyone else that wants to join as i have spoken to Peter from RdW and he will only allow 16 vehicles MAX.....

Thanx JoHno.....will keep an eye on the thread to see if I will be moving up.

Hi guys & gals

I need to make a decission on the payment part for this weekend....

I need to know if any people on the list will object to the following...

We need to have payment in full by the 1st of Feb 2013.
So here is what i was thinking.
The list stays secure till the 23H59 on the 1st of feb.
As from the 2nd of Feb the list opens to the standby list.
The standby list then has the option to fill any place on the list of people that have not paid yet...... (yes that includes my place on the list if i have not paid by then)

Please post comments or agreement and PM me if you have a valid reason for an objection to this.......

I am not trying to be pushy, I just want to make sure that we have a min of 10 vehicles PAID and ready to go by Feb or else I WILL have to cancel the weekend.... AND I DONT WANT TO DO THAT............

No Objections - But then I have already paid, so my spot is secured
