Transkei/Jacaranda day trip

Post by AM Racing »

Hi guys, I am doing a day trip 20/10 Sunday to the wreck of the Jacaranda from Kei Mouth. This is a photographic come 4x4 trip.
Itinery:
Meet 7.30am at the pont in Kei Mouth and ferry across
Depart 8.30 from Kei east bank
Prepacked lunch 1-2pm
Return to be at ferry by 5pm sharp! Or take the long road back....

If you let me have your details by Thursday lunch I will have you included in the permit. Failing that you will have to get your own. The trails are a grade 2-3 in the dry and up to a 4 in the wet. There are river crossings and bring sweets for the local children.... See you there.

Getting Visitors this week-end, so will have to give it a skip. These short notices don't do it for me. The end of the month week-end I will now also be attending a wedding in Durban.

Had a chat this morning with Anton, the ill guy, and his condition has deteriorated since I last spoke with him (on Tuesday). He will not be joining us this time around.
