My GoPro Roll

I needed a case or something to keep all my Gopro stuff together, as it was scattered all over the show, and I quite liked the idea of a "Roll".. almost like those tool-rolls you get with your bakkie... But unfortunately, they were quite expensive and not readily available any more.

So I decided to make my own. Went to the fabrics store (Haberdashery?) and bought some black bull-denim and some elastic and started up the sewing machine...... here's the end result. I am quite proud of my handiwork!!

Excuse the seams, I am still a novice sewing machine operator..... It works, I tested it out on the weekend in Atlantis Dunes, and I have everything I need right there at my fingertips.....

I like the way you can hang yours up, it make it more versatile

how does it fair in keeping sand out? Or is the GoPro components built to withstand bit of sand so no need for it to be airtight?

Shaakir, the GoPro is pretty robust... It's spends most of its life in the waterproof case anyway, so a bit of sand and dust wont hurt... The rest of the stuff are bits of plastic and nuts and bolts... The batteries needs to stay dry, but dust and sand wont harm them...

The roll works great...
