Double Jerry can holder

I made a stailess steel double Jerry can holder, quetion: do i leave it as 304 stainless or spray paint it black?

Leave it as stainless ... the black will eventually chip and look ugly. ;-)

P.S. If you don't like it looking too 'bling', then sand-blast it to take the shine off - it will look more grey like galvanizing then.

I agree leave it stainless. As Andy said it will chip and look ugly.

The sandblasted finish looks good on it to.

vir die verstelbare latches - kyk ook by daai hardeware winkel so entjie onder die Hilux City.



3CR12 is n "low grade" stainless - hy gaan lekker roes onder n laag verf .... inderwaarheid, selfs goeie stainless werk juis op die prinsiep dat dit die chemiese reaksie met die suurstof wat keer dat die stainless "roes", bedek dit met verf en die suurstof kan nie die stainless beskerm nie .... (dis nou as daar n plekkie is waar hy begin roes, dan loop die roes onder die verf)
