DIY Hard top

Post by Skroppie »

Hi Guys

I just wanted to show you all what I have been working on lately..
It's not completely finished yet, but will have to be finished before
we go on a Lesotho trip in a few weeks

I did fit a little perspex back window this past weekend

I just still need to close the gap at the back and then Thunder02
will assist with canvas doors :cooldude:

Looking good, but remember, the more light you let into the back, the more heat, so your fridge freezer will have to work harder.

Was thinking he should put in side doors for easier access,as the rear spare wheel is not on an swing arm,so only access is between the two front seats.

It's a shocking sight, and not suitable viewing for children under 52 but we go topless whenever we go out.....

Yeah I know it's way more fun without the roof but we need the extra
loading space on top - this was the main reason for building the thing..

Unfortunately we don't have a portable fridge yet - so not a train smash yet, but when we get one I will rethink the window bit

I thought about the side doors, but the roll bar is still in the way then, so rather left it.. :siffler:

It's dual purpose, if you take it off, you can store your lawnmower etc. under it in the back yard
