Remember when yo udesign the box you have to allow for the material to be folded inbetween the arms..... :thumbup:

I got the idae form looking at one of my friend's awning.

The idea was good but they made it unnesaserily complicated and with to many joints and parts. I am a firm believer that the viewer parts there is the better. (Less to go wrong with)

I agree in using aluminium for this.
Look at teh weight difforance between the two.

I am waiting for the mountings for the roof rack.
I got an origenal set for the OE units(FOR FREE) from one of my customers.
