Roof Console - IFS

Post by louis fourie »

Eerste probeerslag vir so iets. Hier is 'n paar fotos:

Dankie vir die goeie terugvoer - The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

16 - Radio fitted.jpg
Hier kom 'n paar vrae:

Rocker switch.jpg
Rocker switch.jpg (24.07 KiB) Viewed 7857 times

Oom Eric:

Dankie, ek vandag my aerial in die pos gekry.

Louis,

2. Krag kabel? Vat dit deur die "A"-post.

19 - Front mounting - Rivnut.jpg
20 - Front mounting - mirror fitted.jpg
21 - Mirror cover fitted.jpg
22 - Rear Mounting.jpg
23 - Rear Mounting - Rivnut fitted.jpg

Hier is nog so 'n paar foto's.

Sterkte!

Ek is nou so te sê klaar.

Hier is 'n paar fotos.
41 - Cable past A-Post.jpg
42 - Cable at footwell.jpg
43 - Cable Engine Compartment.jpg
Volgende was die aerial.

Ek het vir my 'n 20mm chasis punch by Builders Warehouse gekoop (moet 19 wees, maar hulle het nie gehad nie)
44 - Hole for Aerial.jpg
45 - Aerial Base mounted.jpg
46 - Aerial mounted.jpg
47 - Aerial after leak test.jpg
More gaan my console in vir bekleedsel. Sal sommer vandag nog LED gloeilampies bestel by 4x4 Direct. Alles behoort so teen Woensdag klaar te wees afhangende hoe vinnig ek die gloeilampies kry.

Louis, baie goed gedoen! En jou radio & antenna installasie is uitstekend goed!

Die Motorola kwaart-golf antenna is netjies en jy gaan goeie radio coverage lry soos hy nou gemonteer is.

Well done!!

What a great DIY project. Excellent work indeed Louis!

Thanks Darrel  . I am nearly finished now. Got the console back from the upholsterers today. I need the LED globes which I ordered from 4X4 Direct. As soon as have that I will fit the lights.

Very nicely done and the finished product looks really good! Interesting to see what different materials the guys have used with these projects ... probably what they're more comfortable with, in your case, metal work?

Very nice all the same! ;-)

Baie goed gedoen. Net een vraag, gaan daai atena nie aan alles hak nie, ek dink maar as jy onder 'n afdak op by 'n parkeer-garage in ry. Of moet jy hom afhaal en net opsit as jy die radio gaan gebruik?

Geniet jou kuier hier in die Kaap.
