Sat nav

Post by Farmerbrown »

Morning all.
I have an after market dvd player in my Prado 120 kz-te.
It has sat nav option. But seems that I need to get a sd card with maps for it to work.
How do I go about that. Haven't had much like googling it.

What operating system does your system use? I may have a copy for you.
If your system supports Tom-Tom or Garmin or Tracks for Africa it would be worth you while to buy the software.

Thanks Mars. I'm not too sure. It's a soundstar infotainment system

Is it Soundstar or Starsound? Post as much info on it as you can as well as a model number or anything appearing on the face of it. Perhaps you could also post a picture of the screen and the setup menu?

I have some bad news and some good news.

The bad news first: My version will not work on the unit.
The good news: the device supports the iGo and TomTom software. It is available and can be purchased from Audiosuperb at 011 974 3441. They are prepared to ship it to you counter to counter via postnet. They said they will mail a quote for me shortly.
