Advice required: Mounting a GME 300 in Vigo

Does anybody have experience in mounting a GME 300 radio in the Vigo?
Or can somebody give a suggestion on where to mount the radio?

I mounted / wedged mine between the seat and the safety belt. Some Vigo models (newer type) have a plastic cover around the seat and makes it a bit difficult. But the GM 300 should work as it is fairly short.

You can also mount it inside the armrest console, downside is you have to drive with it open.
or
Mount it behind the arm rest console.
or
you can mount it next to the 4x4 'kort stokkie' on the passanger side or even in the cubby
